I cannot tell you how much I adore this fresh and happy film that the oh so talented Stephan Keereweer of De Grote Dag made at my home this weekend! Stephan was our wedding photographer and as I mentioned in a previous post, we were working on a special project together, and here it is! De Grote Dag and Judy's Wedding Keepsakes present to you these little white cotton pouches tied with mint colored ribbon. Stephan will be using the delicate keepsakes as a wrapping for the USB sticks containing the wedding photos for newlywed couples. I'm not sure if you can see it in the film, but the fabric we used has tiny flowers worked into it. Beautiful. Some photos are featured on the blog of De Grote Dag. I certainly hope Stephan and I will be working together some more in the future. He is just so kind and inspiring. Really, he is the one who got me thinking about Judy's Wedding Keepsakes in the first place.
So Judy's Wedding Keepsakes is sort of a shared adventure of my sweet sweet mom and myself. A former teacher and loving mother of three, she has been so very patient with me, because when I came up with the idea of making vintage style wedding keepsakes, I had hardly ever even used a sewing machine! Gradually she is teaching me how to go about it and I have to say that I am really enjoying the time we get to spend together. It's so much fun!
Oh right, those muffins you just noticed in the film...? I'll be posting that recipe later this week, so please come back for that!
